Services Provided:
IMEP is responsible for full MEP model ownership, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems align with the project’s rapid-build strategy and meet healthcare standards. This includes engineering validation to confirm compliance with regulations, model coordination to integrate various disciplines, and advanced clash detection to resolve design conflicts.

Detailed installation drawings are prepared to streamline on-site assembly, while accurate as-built models are provided to document the final structure. IMEP also compiles comprehensive COBie information, delivering structured asset data to support long-term facility management and maintenance.

CNU - St. Finbarr’s Community Nursing Home

CNU - St. Finbarr’s Community Nursing Home

The St. Finbarr’s Community Nursing Home project in Cork is part of the Community Nursing Units (CNU) PPP program. This two- and four-storey split-level residential care building spans approximately 8,020 m² and is designed to provide 105 en-suite bedrooms, including 30 designated for dementia residents. The project prioritizes sustainability and energy efficiency, aiming for an A2 Building Energy Rating (BER). The building was constructed using pre-cast concrete superstructures, aligning with modern, efficient building methodologies.

Services Provided:
IMEP was engaged to deliver comprehensive electrical engineering and BIM support for the project. The scope included reviewing and enhancing the electrical BIM model, ensuring compliance with the project’s design and operational requirements. IMEP provided model coordination to integrate the electrical design seamlessly with other disciplines, leveraging advanced tools for clash detection to resolve potential conflicts.

CNU - Midleton

CNU - Midleton

Overview:
The Midleton Community Nursing Unit (CNU) is part of the Health Service Executive's (HSE) initiative to enhance residential care facilities across Ireland. This two-storey facility will provide 50 beds for both short and long-term care of older persons, contributing to a total of 530 beds across seven sites in the country.

The project emphasizes sustainability, aiming for a minimum A2 Building Energy Rating (BER), and utilizes modern methods of construction, including off-site manufactured pre-cast concrete superstructures, to ensure efficiency and quality.

Services Provided:
IMEP has been appointed to deliver comprehensive electrical engineering and BIM support for the Midleton CNU project. Our responsibilities include full ownership of the electrical BIM model, ensuring it aligns with the project's design and operational requirements. We provide model coordination to integrate the electrical design seamlessly with other disciplines, utilizing advanced clash detection tools to identify and resolve potential conflicts. Detailed electrical installation drawings are prepared to guide on-site construction, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The project involved the design and implementation of electrical systems to support the refinery’s operations, ensuring compliance with stringent oil and gas industry standards.

Services Provided:
IMEP was engaged to deliver specialized electrical engineering services for the project. The scope of work included designing electrical systems for cabin cells, performing comprehensive cable calculations, and developing site services drawings to ensure seamless integration into the refinery's infrastructure.

Additionally, IMEP created low-voltage (LV) single-line diagrams to provide clear, precise documentation of the electrical systems. The design process prioritized compliance with oil and gas industry regulations and standards, guaranteeing the highest levels of safety and reliability.
